The city of Barcelona is famous for its active street life. The Catalan people like spending their days outside, the streets are always filled with people. This has created an enormous network of Barcelona bars to service all those people. There are bars in almost every street and alley, the best way to find your favourite is by simply walking around in the city and try.

Some Barcelona bars have always been popular by people visiting the city. This is a list of bars we recommend.

La Miranda del Museu, Museu d´Hist de Catalunya. Pla pau Vila 3

This might just be one of the best tips you can get for your holiday. Inside the Museum History of Catalonia is a small bar/restaurant. Take the elevator to the top floor and be surprised by the great view over the city.
Barcelona Bars
La Barcelonina de vins i esperits, c/ V 304
An excellent wine bar in the centre of the Barcelona. It s always crowded with locals and where ever you go, that s a good way to measure quality. Hundreds of wines are displayed, you are able to taste different wines but they also sell bottles.

Dry Martini, c/ Aribau 162-166
A modern cocktail bar which, regarding the name, is specialised in Martini cocktails and they are! The famous drink comes in countless different cocktails. Next to Martini they serve almost every cocktail you can imagine. The bar is focused on younger people; they play up-beat music which does not attract the general middle-aged public.

Gimlet, c/ rec 24 Born
This cocktail bar is a classic one; the long wooden counter gives you that old western feeling when drinking a glass of whiskey at the bar. It s an easygoing bar where you can enjoy a quiet evening.

Agua, passeig Marítim 30
Agua is a bar/restaurant located at the beach of Barcelona. It offers great seafood and an incredible view. The restaurant is very popular; this means you might have to queue up, even if you made a reservation.

Caf de l´Acad c/ Lledó 1
A Barcelona bar located at the little Pla San Just. They have a menu of classic Catalan dishes including home-made pasta and risotto. This restaurant is has lots of regular customers, but its not crowded because it s not on the main tourist route.
