Barcelona Weather Forecast

When it comes to style, Barcelona is without a doubt one of Europe s greatest cities. After a tour of the city s famous architecture you may feel like going with the flow and adding a bit of Barcelona fashion, a bit of local moda, to your wardrobe! You have plenty of options when shopping in Barcelona and different areas offer different styles of store to explore, ensuring that those with differing tastes aren t left to fall by the wayside.

If you want to go straight downtown for your shopping, consider starting at the very centre of town, Plaza Cataluña . If you are just arriving and need a variety of things, you can visit the supermarket across the plaza. Within the plaza is the Triangle Mall Barcelona , featuring a massive book store where you can also order concert tickets, develop film, and find all sorts of books, music, movies, among other things.
Barcelona Shopping
In the very same mall you will find a wide variety of shops and cafes, including a café dedicated to Italian-made ice-cream and stores where you can find watches, perfumes and makeup, eyeglasses, candles and many more.

Travelling away from Plaza Cataluña, you might take a walk down las Ramblas, where you can find artists who will draw your portrait in many styles, bird vendors and flower stands. If you prefer to extend your mall experience but want to keep to the fresh air, try walking down Portal de L a pedestrian street where you can find some nice shoe and jewellery stores on the route between Plaza Cataluña and Barcelona Cathedral.

If you chose to walk down las Ramblas, you can take a left and turn into the streets of Barcelona s Gothic quarter, which is an excellent Barcelona shopping area . The streets of the Gothic quarter are built in stone and there is often a nice breeze blowing through them, making for quite a scenic stroll as you browse Barcelona shops of many different ranges from cheap to posh. Also off Las Ramblas, you may find Plaza del Pi, where you can find cheeses, herbs and honey on Thursdays and on the first and third weekends of each month.

If you get tired of Barcelona shopping but still feel you want to do more with your day, follow Las Ramblas to the very end, towards the statue of Colon, and look across the bridge to find a mall and a cinema.
