When you are visiting Barcelona, or Spain in general, you can t leave without trying a tapas bar. Tapas are little dishes of food, including seafood, meat and vegetables. There is a difference between pinchos and tapas. When eating Barcelona tapas , you can order the different dishes that are displayed in the counter.
In a pinchos bar, you should ask for a plate and take al the small dishes that you want. Every pincho has a cocktail stick in it, keep the sticks on your plate, the bartender will be able to see how many pinchos you had because you pay after you ve finished.

Likewise to the bars of Barcelona, tapas bars are numerous. When sightseeing it is nice to eat a tapa between the Barcelona attractions.
Euskal Etxea Montcada 1-3
A Barcelona tapas bar at great location, just near the Picasso Museum in the old centre of Barcelona. They offer a range of good wines and the tapas are excellent.
Mam i Teca, c/ Lluna 4
This little tapas bar is the stereotype Spanish one and there is nothing wrong about it. The bright yellow and green walls send out a friendly message. They have all the usual tapas to choose from, all high quality for a good price.
Sureny, Pla de Revolució 17
One of the best tapas bars in Barcelona. You can t go wrong with this menu, everything is great! The waiters know everything about the food so don t be embarrassed to ask.
