Barcelona has something unique to offer to the tourists, and because of this every year the city has been visited with millions of vacationers coming from the different corner of the world. If you were one of the travelers who were planning to travel in Barcelona, you should not miss to witness their yearly tradition called the “Castellers”.
The Castellers tradition is done every year; this is one of the most famous traditions in Barcelona. There are various men who participated in the said event. They merged each other and make a human tower by standing on each other’s shoulder until they reach the seven stores high. At the top of the human tower stands the anxaneta which is a small boy. Castellers can be seen in various towns like in Valls and in Vilafranca del Penedes. The best about this event since all can join the activity even if you were not a resident of Barcelona, tourists can join the event that makes it livelier and vibrant.
The Barcelona Aquarium as well is a must see. This gigantic oceanarium has been designated as the significant education center particularly in the Mediterranean. This huge aquarium is the sanctuary of about four hundred and fifty species and eleven thousand marine animals. Aside from these facts, the aquarium is also known as the sanctuary of some of the Europe Oceanariums. The Barcelona Aquarium was established not only for the entertainment purposes and educational tour, but also for letting the people realize that we are part of their life, meaning we should have to protect their environment in order for them to survive.
