Barcelona for a Sand, Sea and Sun Sojourn

Barcelona beach Everybody has already taken their vacation and in fact going back home while you are still on your desk and working your head off. And you are not only dreaming and fantasizing of a sand, sea and sun sojourn to ease the back pain and stress off your system.

Even with the dire economy Barcelona still is attracting millions of tourist this year. Though, the Barcelona tourism industry is hit by the recession; and travel elements like flights and accommodation are very cheap; this is the chance that travelers should grab.

Once again the Barcelona beaches will be full from sunrise to sunset. As families go frolicking in the sea in the morning; the younger couple is relaxing to prepare themselves for the night party that would last until the wee hours of the evening. Plata De La Nova Icaria is one of the crowded beaches of Barcelona and is a popular beach due to the nearby equipments, facilities and attractions which are very near the beach location. Plata De la Nova Icario beach is open from dusk till dawn though lifeguards are only available from 10 a.m. to 6p.m. from the month of May until September. The best way of transportation is by bus.

Other beaches to enjoy in Barcelona are Bogatell Beach, mar Bella Beach, Barceloneta Beach, and Casteldefells. Be sure to protect your skin when sunbathing and enjoying the beach.
