Barcelona is the Trendiest Tapa Town

Barcelona like the rest of the Spanish cities and town just got hit by the tapa fever. There is nothing more Spanish than tapas. Though, tapas in Barcelona have just been around in the 90s; the town has adapted such gastronomic delight which such wildfire abandonment that tapa bars popped up like mushrooms in Barcelona.

Tapas according to history were just slices of bread used to cover the glasses of sherry drinkers to keep the fruit flies away from their glass of wine. Then the simple tapas evolve into what tapa is known here in Spain.

It is best to eat tapas outside the bar weather permitting. There is no known etiquette in eating tapas in Spain. It is just that you got to share your tapa for everybody in your table. For tapa goers you won’t have to worry to travel far and land on a tapa bar because miraculously Barcelona tapa bars tend to cluster together so you got many choices on where to taste your first tapa.

Tapas define a Spanish lifestyle it is a food that you tend to serve for good talk and great company. It is the wine, food and tapa that makes a Spanish lifestyle so gallant and relax. Eating tapa after an excursion or a museum visit is one good way to end the day’s activity and to start the night’s next pursuit.
