Barcelona is not only a city abounding with beauty spots like museums, landscapes, beaches and monuments but the city is also famous of its impressive parks. Barcelona features a number of parks and most of it has a great surrounding to tour. But the most popular park within the city is the Park Guell. It was the famous architect Antoni Gaudi who designed the park of which it became one of the top 10 most visited beauty spots in Barcelona. However, aside from the Park Guell you can also visit the other famous parks in Barcelona such like the following.
- The Parc d’Attractiones (Barcelona’s Amusement Park)—this amusement park is best for kids. But visitors in all ages are also very much welcome here. The Parc d’ Attractiones features exciting rides like roller coasters, Ferris wheel and more. The contemporary and antique roller coasters are available here so it would be nice if you try to experience riding them both. Located at the Tibidabo Mountain, you will have the chance to view the scenic part of the city.
- Ciutadella Park & the Barcelona Zoo—this is the perfect location to unwind and relax if you were looking for a greener view. Though it is located in the city’s center the Ciutadella Park is the best hideout from the bustling city of Barcelona. Ciutadella Park was formerly a military edifice and currently holding the Museu Zoologia, the Barcelona Zoo, the Museu de Geologia and some of the small arboreta. The best day to visit the park would be Sundays. There would be hippie fest and various musical instruments being displayed here that would make the Sunday the best day to visit the park.
- The Park Collsera—this park is located in the Zona Alta Hills. The park offers a great location to do the biking, hiking and jogging. It is also a great location if you want to have a picnic with your friends or just exploring the Romanesque church and medieval ruins that surrounds the park.
