Impressive landscapes, sports activities, architectural designs, interesting mountains and hospitable people are just a few of the many factors why Barcelona is a tourist’s rushing destination. But knowing Barcelona is a great way to know better its history and legend, for this the best place to visit in the city are its museums. Barcelona caters various, prestigious and interesting museums such like the following.

I love the sweet little delicious chocolate that melts in my mouth. The yummy taste of chocolates is imprinted in my being as if I could not live without it. If you are one chocolate connoisseur then Barcelona is indeed just the perfect place for you.

This time as you visit Museu de la Xocolata then eating chocolates would only be second to your priorities as the chocolates here are made so beautifully and enticingly that one would really wish to let it stay as it is forever. Every detail of each masterpiece is so intricate and colorfully made with chocolates dripping like falls in one of the masterpiece.

I could not believe in it.

Barcelona chocolate museum is the best in the whole world. As the original point of entry of chocolates in Europe Barcelona has the right to celebrate chocolates.

Barcelona’s Museu de la Xocolata is a privately owned museum. The owner is the city pastry-makers’ guild of Gremi de Pastissera de Barcelona. It was opened at Ciutat Vella in the year 2000.

The museum actually displays sculptures made of chocolates which are a replica of many Barcelona popular architectures or pictures of famous stories. The sculptures are made so professionally and artistically that eating it is your second priority as you get enthralled with the detail, scope and size of the displayed sculpture. Don’t forget to bring your camera with you.

The structure of the building itself is already impressive. Never dare miss to visit this museum when ever you are in the vicinity of Barcelona!
