Barcelona City is the undeniable one of the very significant cities in Spain. It is the distinct and vibrant region of Catalonia. The life in the city bubbles with its beautiful markets, trading centers, spacious and lively squares, and numerous wonderful sights to uncover. Additionally, the gardens have never been elapsed when colorful and striking sights are what visitors seeking for; known to the fact that Barcelona is a city in Europe which is famous for its parks.

And of these is the Montjuic Park, to be found on the top of a hill on the site of the old side of Barcelona. The said park’s path is a former street route located in Barcelona, Catalonia and is believed to be the best of all time. You are free to wander around the park and take the air tram while viewing some of the gardens within. Some of the most attractive are the Nou Jardí Botànic- a botanic garden that has planted more than 2000 different plants and the Jardins de Mossen. This is a great place to hang out when you like to escape from the masses for a day.

The park is such a perfect place to view a couple of pictures of Spain because of its spectacular views from uphill. From there you are about to see the phenomenal and a large Oceanside overlooking the city. Otherwise, visit the National Palace just within the park. It is a building with a historical existence. This is Palace that was developed into the National Museum of Catalonian Art, and then once you have gone into the sighting area you can have a drink and smooch some foods.

However, if your time is limited be sure not to miss out the fountain which is the main attraction in the Montjuic Park. But this can only be seen during nighttime. It is not likely to form part of the park’s journey as in all probability to be up on Montjuic. At night the lively multicolored lights of the fountain can be amusingly watched from ground point, so you do not necessarily go up to the park to observe it. If you’re in the mood to give in to a city’s charms, Barcelona is the set to be.

A must-see attraction in Barcelona, Spain! Be in awe with the water symphony. The blending of lights, music, color, orchestra and movement is enough to glimpse an engineering jewel in perfect combination. Witness the enticing dancing and playing of the Montjuic Magic Fountain.

Every performance with a perfect combination ends up with grand feat. The Montjuic Magic fountain is beyond enchantment. It was in May 29, 1929 that the Montjuic Magic Fountain first played designed by Carles Buigas. Though its creation raises doubts and criticisms from those who do not believe in its maker still the creation of the fountain pushed through. More than 3000 workers were hired for the completion of the fountain and they finished it in less than a year.

The Montjuic Magic Fountain is located in Placa Espanya, Green Line, L3 and Red Line, L1 Barcelona Spain. I first saw the colorful pictures of the fountain in the internet and became so enthralled that I went to search on it on youtube and witnessed the most enchanting display of colors, music and water movements. A spectator can not help but say “wow” in its enchantment.

The Montjuic Magic Fountain with the chosen sounds will dance and sway together with the lights. The chosen songs vary from famous singers like Whitney Houston, Mozart and Queen or from soundtrack of popular films such as The Godfather, Jungle Book, Chariots of Fire, Lord of the Rings, Dances with the Wolves, Blade Runner, or the Lion King. Even Disney productions appreciated the magnificence of the fountain that they would add and contribute to the presentation of the fountain; the soundtrack like the Hunchback of Notre Dame, Beauty and the Beast, Pocahontas, Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Brother Bear and Jungle Book. The fountain’s choreography is flexible the mix of music from the 80s to m90’ and music from famous singers like Montserrat Caballe and Freddie Mercury also add color to the rhythm of the fountain presentation.

The Montjuic Magic Fountain will perform on Fridays and Saturdays from 7 pm to 9 pm during winter (October to April) and 8 pm to 10 pm during summer (May to September). Admission is free.

So if you wanted to really watch it performs again and again choose hotel that are near the Montjuic Park.
