The city of Barcelona is designated as the second largest city of Spain. There are about 1.5 million people living in this huge city, Barcelona is also the capital of Catalonia. Every year Barcelona has been visited with different races of tourists because of its being rich on its unique architectural structure. During the 1990’s Barcelona was known in Europe as the most famous tourist destinations. What to expect in Barcelona? Here are some of the most interesting things you can do in Barcelona.
- Shopping in El Portal de l’Angel—this part of Barcelona is a huge pedestrian walkway where you can see various shopping center to shop with. This is one of the best places in Barcelona that you should not miss to visit especially when you love shopping.
- Exploring the Las Ramblas—this is an incredible tree-lined pedestrian pathway. Las Ramblas is also the busiest and most vibrant street of Barcelona. Most of the people that can be found here are tourists. Though the foods and restaurants here are more expensive compared to the other restaurants, yet it is all worthy.
- Explore in Born—a very famous area in Barcelona that offer great places to view and restaurants to dine in. If you were staying in Rambla this is the best place to head when you wanted to escape the crowd.
- Try visiting Gracia—located off at the Park Guell, this is the best place to go if you want to immerse with people having local culture. Though there are only a few numbers of tourists that can be seen here Gracia is a perfect location to view interesting places, as well as for eating and relaxing.
- Relax and sip some coffee in the Placa dels Angels—this is the best place to relax or unwind while watching the impressive skate actions in town.
